It is the perfect, idyllic base for alpine walks and hikes, offering total peace while still being easy to reach and park at. Atmosphere: Pure magic. The hotel blends modern eco-luxury with cozy alpine charm perfectly. It is incredibly serene, quiet, and relaxing. Sitting by the fireplace areas or just walking through the halls feels deeply grounding. Rooms: Our room was a dream. It was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed with natural timbers, and had stunning views of the surrounding nature. The bedding was exceptionally plush, and the acoustic design made the room feel like a private sanctuary. Value: While it sits at a premium price point, it is worth every single cent. Between the incredible gourmet meals, the world-class wellness access, and the flawless service, the value you get for your money is undeniable. It is a worthwhile luxury investment. Cleanliness: Flawless. Every corner of the hotel, from our bathroom to the massive spa facilities, was kept spotlessly clean and fresh. The housekeeping standards are incredibly high. Noise Level: Exceptionally quiet. There was no disruptive noise at all—just the peaceful sounds of nature. The insulation in the rooms is excellent, allowing for a perfectly restful night's sleep. Service: Impeccable from start to finish. Every single staff member we encountered was genuinely warm, welcoming, and professional without being intrusive. They truly know how to make guests feel valued and pampered. Amenities: The spa and wellness facilities are spectacular. The heated pool and relaxation areas are beautifully maintained and offer the ultimate space to unwind after a day outdoors. The dining also deserves a special mention—the presentation and taste of every meal were outstanding. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and cannot wait to return to this paradise! Possibly the best hotel stay we’ve had in terms of relaxation and food. Out of this world. The meals are amazing. Incredibly comfortable rooms and beautiful spaces throughout the hotel which has been cleverly designed and thought through. The spa and pool was a massive hit for my wife and daughter. The gym was fine but could do with a proper cable machine rather than one multi gym machine. The yoga classes etc were excellent. We had a fabulous time here and will definitely return again.

Beautiful stay here. Staff are so lovely, food is fresh and delicious, the hotel is gorgeous and the spa/sauna offering is like nothing we’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend!

Overall the experience was great. Warm welcome, good food, excellent service from a friendly (family) staff. It shows the family's commitment to maintaining high level quality day in day out which, in today's reality, is a real challenge. Kudos to the Family Auer and its employees for going the extra mile. As a (tourist) guest I was delighted to spend a full week in Naturhotel Waldklause. I know you didn't control the factor 'weather', but even there we got lucky!
