Although originally deriving from 13th century Scandinavia, curling is an old tradition in the entire Alpine regions. It is a typical winter fun activity that was formally played on frozen lakes.

Never minding its age, curling is a modern and agile sport. A curling stone is sent gliding over the ice or other surfaces such as asphalt or plastic. The curling stone consists of a metal body, different gliding soles and a handle.
